­What is 19:20 Solutions?
The idea of the name 19:20 Solutions is taken from Proverbs 19:20 which says, “Listen to counsel and accept discipline, that you may be wise the rest of your days”. It’s so sad that many people who have reached their peak stopped to progress by ceasing to hear counsel and advice from others. A lot of people who has reached the peak of their mountain stay there because there’s nowhere else to go. But some people when they reach the peak of their mountain looks at the sky and fly – these are the people who are wise because they are a constant student of progress and thus they succeed. 19:20 Solutions is aimed to provide wings by providing topics that can stimulate the minds of the participants. It can also be considered as a progress from 19 to 20 or from almost perfect to perfection.

History
19:20 Solutions started as a vision by 2 idealist, Aldous Echegoyen and Peter Cariaga. Both have been involved in creative training and mentoring programs. Both also served in the church where they first saw the need for a training program like this. They started to address the needs of Young People by organizing seminars for young people in the community. Since the dream is so intense and wide and the needs arise, they both looked for a way to go in to the industry of training by reading books, attending seminars and allowed themselves to be mentored by mentors and trained by trainers.

After 2 years of training and experience, they finally can say that it is time to go to a wider audience. In the year 2004 and early 2005 they have organized Programs like: Peer Pressure Talk Show, Leadership Workshop, Design Driven Life Seminar (Career Seminar), Personality Development Workshop, and Personal Financial Management Seminar. Presently, Peter Cariaga has gone back to the States to increase his learning and Aldous Echegoyen serves as the Minister, Preacher and Administrator for Mactan Church of Christ with 150 memberships.

To reach out to the community, to the country and to the world by providing their need for growth and development in both personal and professional living. To be able to improve the society by implanting in them positive thinking and right attitude.

Mission
19:20 Solutions is a training and mentoring Team aim to develop people and provide practical solutions by equipping, encouraging and empowering. We believe that people can change if and when they believe that they can and because of this we organized this Team to help people reach their potential and move on to the next level.

Year End Report 2005

I am happy to tell you that 19:20 Solutions & Ministry has expanded its influence to 3 companies now namely: Marie Ernestine Schools, General Milling Corporation & Plantation Bay Resort & Spa.

We have now shared practical financial solutions & helped them have hope from their financial mess to about 100 people already.

After every seminar and workshop comes the In-depth Financial Study which is actually a Biblical Financial Study. This study or Therapy, as we call it, helps them see the real reason why they mess up with their finances. This also helps them to be more spiritual which can hopefully lead to a Bible study on salvation.

RATIONAL PURPOSE OF THE SEMINAR

This seminar is called PERSONAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SEMINAR & WORKSHOP and is aimed to help participants see the reality of their finances and be able to find a way to deal with it on his own. This seminar is not aspiring to provide Financial Consultation but is focused more on personal discipline and attitude towards personal finances. We will look at real facts on WHY we mess up with our finances and HOW we can avoid it. We will also be giving suggestions and tips on how to deal with financial problem BUT is not the ultimate and only solution.

The Introductory Seminar (Part 1) will touch on topics about basic facts and principles on our personal finances. The Workshop (Part 2), on the other hand, is a deeper and detailed discussion/workshop that will give practical tips and activities that will hopefully lead to Personal financial freedom!

It is a given factor that Filipinos are hard up with their finances BUT little do we know that it is not about how much we earn but how much we spend – in the end, there will always be money to save, budget and invest.

As Entrepreneur, management consultant and financial adviser Francisco Colayco commented: “I realized soon enough that they (Filipinos) did not know how to handle their personal finances. While all of them were driven by desire to earn money, it became evident that most, if not all of them, had no real understanding of how to keep and manage money.”

He added, “Its not about numbers, it’s about mindset. You can build enough wealth no matter what income level you’re in.”

The main point of this Seminar and Workshop is for all the participants to understand their personal finances. Instead of money working against us; we can let it work for us.
